With the holiday season in full swing, I’m feeling super nostalgic and Laura & Scott’s Ringwood State Park engagement session feels like the perfect thing to share right now! The romantic, hazy sunrise lighting makes their session feel like its right out of a storybook! Plus, Ringwood State Park has a gorgeous manor estate onsite that feels like it belongs in England! Simply stunning.
Before their session, I met up with Laura and Scott at Ringwood’s parking lot, just prior to sunrise. They had coordinated their outfits so well, and decided to do an outfit change halfway through their session too! Fun fact about Laura, she works and runs golf outings for people, which is so cool. She gave me so many great gift ideas for the golfers in my life!
Laura and Scott told me that while on what became one of their favorite roundtrips in Maine, they both knew that they had something really special together. So sweet! Scott ended up proposing to Laura while they were in South Carolina visiting Laura’s aunt and uncle. They decided to go to the beach to explore. While walking along the beach, Scott got down on one knee and asked Laura to marry him! Afterwards, Laura’s parents drove over from Atlanta to celebrate with them that weekend.
Laura and Scott wanted their session to feel very romantic, so I knew a Ringwood State Park engagement session at sunrise would be perfect for them! There were lots of beautiful photo backdrops nearby, from Ringwood Manor, to the dreamy gardens and stonework arches. These lovebirds tied the knot last month at Hotel du Village in New Hope, PA and I cannot wait to share the photos! Stay tuned!
