One of the best things about having a strong sense of wanderlust, is that I’m always looking to experience new locations outside of my normal stomping grounds. So if your wedding or engagement dreams take you to another part of the country, or even the world, you can 100% count me in!
Welcome! I’m so happy you’ve stumbled onto this page to learn a bit more about me! I am a New Jersey based photographer with a deep love of the outdoors and visiting beautiful, natural places. Whenever I’m not photographing weddings and sessions, you’ll likely find me hiking, kayaking, or camping with my husband, Dan. We absolutely love spending our time exploring the untouched beauty of nature, and that is a passion that I love incorporating into my photography style as well.

Get to know a little more about me
Curious on how I got into photography?
It’s really a simple story… I first picked up a camera in high school and immediately realized what I wanted to do with my life. From there I just kind of went for it! I quickly fell in love with documenting the big (and little) moments that people cherish for lifetimes to come, which is a huge reason why I chose to focus on weddings. I get to meet so many couples and learn about their love story, lives, and what makes them each uniquely them, all while practicing an art form that I love! Someone come pinch me!!
These are the four people I couldn’t live without! My rocks, my 24/7 support system, my family. My mom is my built-in cheerleader and always has her hands in something behind the scenes to help keep SMC running smoothly. My dad and brother are also always right there when I need them, ready to make me laugh and feel better when being a business owner isn’t always as fun as I’d like it to be (don’t even get me started on the joys of bookkeeping…)! Lastly, my husband, Dan somehow always knows exactly what I need, when I need it. From his early morning chats of encouragement before a wedding day, to coming home to his freshly cooked Taylor Ham, egg and cheese sandwiches after I stayed out late shooting. He, and my whole family are so supportive of my photography and I wouldn’t trade them for the world!
My Support System
Sunday’s are my favorite day of the week. They are often spent going on an adventure, with family and getting everything ready for the new week. In the warmer months we go to the farmers market every Sunday and plan delicious meals with all the goodies we get for the week.
Making bread is one of my favorite hobbies especially sourdough. I love making bread and baked goods for family and friends. HMU if you want some!
Someday hopefully in the near future Dan and I want to have our own garden and maybe a little farm. My goal in life is to homestead and teach our future children all the right ways to take care of your body.
My favorite late night snack / meal when I get home from shooting weddings is a taylor ham egg and cheese. Dan makes the best THEC!
Dan and I are high school sweethearts. This was a dream of mine when I was a young girl. May 17th 2024 this dream came true.
