Fall Hotel Du Village Wedding in New Hope, PA

A few weeks ago I showcased Laura and Scott’s dreamy estate engagement session. Now, as promised, today is the day to look at their absolutely stunning Hotel Du Village wedding! This was one of my favorite weddings from 2023. Their color palette was perfect for the fall season and I could not get over their florals!

Getting Ready & Details

Since I was solo shooting this wedding, I arrived early to scout the property at Hotel Du Village. I very quickly fell in love with the venue. The bridal suite was a photographer’s dream. The space was so open and bright! It was perfect for indoor photography! Laura got ready alongside her mom, mother-in-law, and her best friend.

After photographing details and Laura getting dressed, we headed outside for her first look with her dad. It was such a beautiful moment! Afterwards, Laura’s mom and MOH joined in for some portraits before I made my way over to Scott’s groom suite.

Every room at Hotel Du Village is so cool and unique. Scott put on his finishing touches with the help of his best man in this awesome whiskey parlour. After that, we headed back outside to take his individual family photos.

Ceremony

Laura and Scott’s ceremony was honestly breathtaking! Their florist worked literal magic and transformed the stone courtyard patio into a floral masterpiece with beautiful hues of orange and pink mixed with greenery. Scott had the idea to walk down the aisle with Laura’s mom, so that she didn’t have to walk alone. It was such a sweet moment between them! The couple opted to forgo a first look and it made their aisle moment and ceremony that much sweeter, as they were both so excited to see each other.

Portraits

Immediately following their ceremony, we gathered Laura and Scott’s families in the ceremony space and took the remainder of their family and wedding party photos. Then we headed out for sunset portraits of the couple in the gardens. The setting sun was so pretty that day, which gave their photos an amazing glowy look!

Reception

Once we finished up Laura and Scott’s portraits, they joined cocktail hour. Meanwhile I headed into the reception space to photograph all the table details! The space looked spectacular with their vibrant florals and the soft candlelight from the guest tables.

At their reception, I captured all of the important moments, from intros and special dances, to toasts and cake cutting. It was an incredible day, from start to finish, and I’d photograph it all over again if I could! Congratulations Laura and Scott!
