After shooting two weekends of doubleheader weddings, I was super excited to finally be photographing Brianna and Mark’s wedding at The Farmhouse. As I entered Brianna’s bridal suite, she and her bridal party were already having the best time getting ready and blasting music! It was such a welcome burst of energy to walk into! Brianna had so many beautiful bridal details for me to photograph, I was in love.
Meanwhile, Mark and his groomsmen were getting ready in the groom’s suite. My second shooter captured Mark’s getting ready moments as he and his guys played pool and enjoyed drinks.
Once Brianna was all ready, she met her dad under The Farmhouse’s veranda for a father-daughter first look. It was such a sweet moment for the two. Brianna gifted her dad cufflinks with an old photo of them inside.
Before Brianna and Mark had their own first look together, they opted to start with a “first touch” while reading private letters to one another. When they were finally ready to turn around, they both had tears in their eyes. They were just so excited to see each other!
There was rain in the forecast, so we made sure to get their bride and groom portraits, wedding party, and family photos done beforehand. Right as I was taking the last photo, it started to downpour! Talk about perfect timing.
Due to the rain, they had to move their ceremony inside The Farmhouse. The indoor ceremony setup was just as beautiful though, with a dramatic stone fireplace and chandelier over the aisle!
Before cocktail hour began, I pulled Brianna and Mark back under the veranda for some creative shots with her veil.
When the time came for the reception entrances, Brianna and Mark’s wedding party brought the energy up again. Brianna’s man-of-honor was screaming and cheering them on; he was the biggest hype man!
Brianna and Mark had their first dance together, then moved right into parent dances. Brianna danced with her dad, Mark danced with his mom, and then Brianna also had a dance with her mom at the end! After speeches were given, all of their guests jumped on the dancefloor and partied the night away!
At the end of the night, Brianna and Mark had a private dance together, which felt like the perfect way to end their amazing wedding day at The Farmhouse. Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Polarine!
