Jill and Thomas’s epic downtown Montclair NJ engagement session is absolutely one for the books! We started their session off in the morning at Faubourg Restaurant, where we were lucky enough to be allowed inside early! The restaurant staff were so nice and let us take photos inside while they were still cleaning.
We had the whole place to ourselves, so Jill and Thomas kicked off the session with a champagne toast! Then we took some sweet moody shots at the bar and lounge areas in the restaurant. After shooting at Faubourg, we spent the rest of Jill and Thomas’s session walking about the town. Montclair has so many cute storefronts, so we had lots of awesome photo backdrops! There was a little bit of every style, from an industrial brick facade to a more minimalist painted mural and even a shop with lots of tropical plants, greenery, and fiddle leaf fig trees lining the street! I can’t even pick a favorite!
Jill and Thomas met three years ago and say that they fell in love right away! Their love for each other was so evident throughout their shoot. I seriously cannot wait to photograph their wedding next July at The Park Savoy!
