I have been SO excited to share more of this wedding with everyone. Hannah and Michael got married at Pen Rye Estate back in June and it was beyond stunning. The venue, the couple, florals and really just everything was perfect. We started the day by getting Hannah ready with all her closest friends, sister and mom. Hannah’s sister did her make up and it added such a special moment for them. And if I must say, she did such a great job!!
Once she was all ready we had her get into her dress. Her dress was absolutely stunning, so simple and elegant. Everyone was ready and it was time to head to Pen Rye Estate for their first look and portraits. Hannah and Michael shared the sweetest first look and had the biggest smiles on their faces. Their venue was right on the Delaware River which made for the perfect backdrop for their portraits. I was in photographer heaven with all the awesome locations.
Next on our list was family formals and then the ceremony! Hannah was given away by both her parents and they all had such big smiles. Especially Hannah as she was looking at her soon to be husband. Once the ceremony and cocktail hour were over it was time for the reception. They made their entrance, had their first dance and listened to some heartfelt speeches. Hannah wanted to hop outside for some more portraits and I’m so glad she did! They are some of my favorite portraits I have ever taken.
My friend Alexis came with me to help gather family since I didn’t have a second photographer. It was so much fun being able to show her what I do for a living at such a beautiful venue. Pen Rye is high on my favorite venue list and I cannot wait to go back.
