My first wedding of the year was such great one! Joely and Lenny got married in front of their closest family and friends at the Bacari Grill in Ridgewood NJ. If you have never been you need to, their food is SO good! Now back to chatting about Joely & Lenny’s wedding!!
We started the day at their hotel getting all the girls ready! When I arrived everyone was so excited which made me even more excited! Joely got ready with her 2 lifelong best friends and her daughters. There were so many sweet moments in the morning and I was so happy to be able to capture them all. Once all the girls started to get dressed I hopped over to Lenny’s room and captured some getting ready photos with him. Once everyone was does getting ready we started to head to their portrait location!
First Look + Portraits
All their portraits were taken at Piermont Village NY. What a gorgeous spot on the Hudson River! I will defiently be coming back and walking around all the shops.
It was time for their first look!! Lenny had the best reaction and they shared a long and emotional hug. It is such a sweet moment to be able to witness! Once they had their moment, they exchanged cards and we started their portraits. It was so much fun getting to know them, their families and wedding party!
Ceremony + the party!
Once we arrived at the Bacari Grill we took some more portraits but these were with an old Rolls Royce limo, how cool?! I have never seen one and it was so fun using it as a prop for some of their portraits. Portraits were done and it was time to get ready for the ceremony! I captured all the details for their ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
Joely walked down the aisle with her two daughters by her side and the ceremony begun. After saying their I do’s they went to a private room to have a moment to themselves. They had an intimate wedding so only their closest friends and family were there – it was perfect! They shared a first dance and then the party started!!
