In addition to wedding and portrait photography, I also offer brand photography for businesses! This is such a fun side of my job that I love, as I get to help other small businesses showcase their unique style and brand.
This branding photoshoot with Rustic Roots is extra special because, not only do I go to this salon myself, but my bride, Bree, is the receptionist there too! I loved getting to photograph all of the immaculate and beautifully curated products and details inside their studio. Plus, the session wouldn’t have been complete without some in-action photos of these ladies working their hair magic! The two stylists are Krysta, who does my hair, and Nicole! Something I love about Rustic Roots is that they create a personalized experience for their clients. They have great attention to detail and make you feel right at home when you enter the salon.
It is so important for businesses to have good brand photography because it helps showcase their work and portfolio. Not only are brand photos great to use on a business’s website, but also on social media, like Instagram, especially nowadays!
For the second half of their branding session, I took Krysta, Nicole, and Bree to a nearby coffee shop where we took some headshots that really show off each of their individual personalities! We popped a bottle of champagne and the girls toasted together while taking some group shots. Then I took individual shots of each girl with special touches that show off their personal style and vibes! Krysta is spunky and really wanted to show that in her photos, which she absolutely did! Bree loves cooking and wine, so we took some shots of her looking through a cookbook. Nicole really enjoys books and coffee, so naturally we had to photograph her sipping some java while reading. We captured each of their unique personalities perfectly!
