Atlantic City Country Club Wedding in NJ -

Rehearsal Dinner at Josie Kelly’s Public House

The night before Katie and Kevin’s wedding, I arrived at Josie Kelly’s Public House for their rehearsal dinner. When I got there, there was such great energy and I could tell that everyone was so excited for the wedding the next day! We took portraits and some family/friend photos for the first half of dinner. Then I switched over to candid and detail shots for the rest of the hour. Afterwards, Alexis, my best friend who I brought along for the weekend as my assistant, and I, headed back to our hotel for the remainder of the night to rest up before Katie and Kevin’s big day!

Katie & Kevin’s Wedding Day at the Atlantic City Country Club

On our way to the wedding venue, Alexis and I stopped for Starbucks to energize us for the day ahead! We arrived at the venue and met with Katie and all of her bridesmaids in the stunning bridal suite at the country club. I brought all of Katie’s details down to the reception room to photograph them. They were so amazing! Katie’s florist, Betina’s, even gave me my own box of floral clippings to use in the detail photos, plus a snack and energy shots for us! It was so thoughtful and sweet of her!

Katie had fourteen girls in her bridal party and we took the cutest getting ready photos of them overlooking the venue! Next up was Katie’s first look with her bridesmaids, so all of the girls got dressed and into place. Meanwhile, Katie got dressed alongside her mom and two sisters/maid of honors. I captured some really sweet moments of them all together.

Katie was so excited to see her bridesmaids and for them to see her in her wedding dress. As she was walking to stand behind them she told them all how great they looked! Then, when all her girls turned around they had the biggest smiles on their faces! After chatting happily with her girls for a bit, Katie then did a first look moment with her dad too. They were so sweet together!

As my second shooter, Madison, arrived for the day, Kevin’s groomsmen entered the scene with a super fun “game day” or NFL-style entrance into the venue! Each guy had their own style and unique entrance, which made for some awesome and hilarious photo moments!

After hanging out with his groomsmen for a bit, Kevin finished putting on his final touches with the help of his mom.

Then it was time for Kevin’s first look with Katie! As Kevin turned around to see Katie, you could tell he was so happy to be marrying his best friend! My favorite moment though, was when Kevin noticed Katie’s dress didn’t have a train, and he asked, “Where is your tail?!” It was SO funny! After that, we walked around the property, taking some of my favorite wedding portraits to date!

Once we finished up their couple’s portraits, we met up with Katie and Kevin’s wedding party and family to get some group shots and formals. Their pup, Ranger even joined in the photos!

Keeping with the “game day” theme, Kevin and his guys tossed around a football for a few shots!

Their ceremony setup was so gorgeous, with fun terracotta toned florals and details like a champagne wall! One of my favorite parts of the ceremony, was when Ranger (the pup) walked down the aisle towards Katie and Kevin! It was so awesome seeing him incorporated into the day so much!

While overlooking the beautiful Atlantic City coastline, Katie and Kevin exchanged their vows, as well as a few happy tears together. Then they were finally announced as husband and wife and shared their first kiss!

Following the ceremony, Katie and Kevin stole away for some private time together to let that “just married” feeling sink really in. Then we did some more portraits with Katie’s veil at the venue’s famous vine wall. It was so stunning!

They had a mac and cheese bar at cocktail hour, so we all got a quick snack before prepping for the reception! It was delicious!

At reception, we captured their entrances, special dances, and some toasts. Right before we departed for the night we took some photos of Katie and Kevin cutting their cake. Then we were off to wedding #2 for the weekend!
