New Jersey Wedding at The Rockleigh | Ashley and Jesse

Ashley and Jesse’s love was the reason over 130 guests gathered at The Rockleigh on March 11th, 2022. Their day was filled with so much love and happiness! I am so excited to share their wedding day with you all. 

Ashley’s inspiration for their wedding day was understated romantic with a little bit of glitz. The florals were absolutely stunning with shades of pink and mauve, the girls all wore a bright mauve and Ashley’s dress was princess style with lots of gorgeous beadwork and 3D flowers/butterflies. All I can say is that everything came together and looked absolutely perfect. I asked them a couple of questions after their wedding and I want to share their answers! 

What ended up being your favorite part of the day?

“I had a few favorite parts of the day. I loved getting ready with my sisters, mom and friends, that part was super fun! I also loved doing the first look with Jesse, that was really cool. We did private vows which were really special for us and something I know we both will always cherish. Our first dance felt surreal and a really sweet moment where I think the entire room disappeared and I felt like it was finally just us and we were actually married!”

Were you nervous? If so, how did you squash the nerves?

“Absolutely! We both were nervous but for me the biggest way to calm my nerves was to look at Jesse and know I was doing this with him and I wasn’t alone”

How sweet is that?! My heart is smiling for these two and I am so honored I got to be a part of their day! Every moment throughout the day was so precious. Ashley and Jesse, I wish nothing but the best for you two. Thank you again for allowing me to photograph the beginning of this beautiful journey. I can’t wait to see pictures from your honeymoon in Italy, drink all the wine in Tuscany and take in all the beauty  of the Amalfi Coast.
