Despite the spring season just beginning, I simply couldn’t wait until next winter to share Nicole and Kyle’s romantic Christmas themed wedding at Renault Winery! Both Nicole and Kyle love Christmas, which is why they chose to have their winter wedding at Renault. They wanted their wedding to feel like a Hallmark Christmas movie, which it truly did! The resort always decorates their spaces so beautifully for the holiday season and it feels like a Christmas dream both inside and out.
My friend and assistant, Alexis, and I came a day early and stayed in the Renault hotel. We went to Renault’s Christmas market the day before the wedding, it was so fun and cute!
Getting Ready Moments
When I first walked into the bridal suite, I was greeted with so much love! I went to high school with a lot of Nicole’s bridesmaids. Plus, I photographed Kristi’s wedding at Jumping Brook and will be photographing Casey’s sister’s wedding in October!
Nicole was also joined by her cute little daughter, Peyton! She was so funny and made us laugh all day long.
Couples Portraits and Wedding Party
Once both Nicole and Kyle were done getting ready, we went into their first look. Afterwards, we walked around the property, taking some cute portraits around the vineyards and the Christmas market before heading inside to meet the wedding party. Renault has so many unique photo spots, from their massive wine barrel Christmas tree to the clear igloo warming hut!
Ceremony
At their ceremony, the space was decorated with Christmas trees, lanterns, and other wintery touches. Peyton, they’re daughter, made the ceremony feel so special and she had everyone laughing so much the entire time!
Since we got all of Nicole and Kyle’s portraits done before the ceremony, they were able to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests. The cocktail hour food was beyond delicious and it was fun seeing so many people from high school!
A Christmas Themed Reception
Inside the reception space, the tables were dressed to the nines with more holiday inspired details, from pine cones and garlands, to rich red linens and wood tones. It truly was a winter wonderland reception!
The bridal party came in with some awesome entrances and then the couple surprised their guests by entering from the grand staircase! Everyone was cheering them on! They had the most romantic first dance with splarklers and fog effects. Kyle also did a father-daughter dance with Peyton, which brought tears to everyone’s eyes, including mine! It was such a special moment.
Nicole and Kyle’s reception continued on with all of the special moments, from parent dances and speeches, to cake cutting and partying! After my coverage was over, Alexis and I ended the night with a glass of wine from the winery. The perfect way to finish off an incredible day!
