Sarah and Brian’s mountain engagement session in Vernon, NJ was such a perfect evening. We had a cool breeze, the most gorgeous light, and sweeping views that made the entire session feel effortless and romantic.
They’ve been together for four years after meeting through mutual friends at a birthday party—and they’ve been inseparable ever since. They truly are each other’s best friend, and you can see how much they love one another. This session was exactly the kind of relaxed, authentic vibe that makes a mountain engagement session in Vernon NJ so special, especially at Stairway to Heaven.
They brought along their pup Murphy, a sweet hunting dog who was such a natural in front of the camera. After his time to shine, he happily ran around playing with sticks while we finished up. Having him there made the session feel even more personal and true to them.
Sarah and Brian are getting married in September 2026 at The Inn at Millrace Pond, and I already know it’s going to be an incredible day. I can’t wait to celebrate these two again soon!
