This wedding day felt like absolute perfection. Ally and Ethan’s River House at Odette’s wedding overflowed with intentional details, emotional moments, and so much joy.

The morning began at Chimney Hill Estate Inn. This relaxed and beautiful location sits just across the river from New Hope in Lambertville, New Jersey. From the start, every detail was ready early, which kept the day feeling seamless. First, I photographed details. Then, I documented candid moments as the girls had their hair and makeup done. After that, we wrapped up with fun bridesmaids photos. The newspapers added a playful touch and perfectly matched Ally’s vision.

Once the bridesmaids got dressed, Ally planned a last-minute first look with her girls. Shortly after, she shared an emotional first look with her dad. Tears started before she even stepped outside. In that quiet moment, their connection felt incredibly sweet and genuine.

Meanwhile, Ethan spent the morning with the guys. Together, they took fun, game-day-style photos. His brothers helped him get ready, which made the morning feel relaxed and meaningful.

The area feels incredibly charming and always worth the trip. Before the ceremony, we took romantic riverfront portraits beneath the willow trees. From there, we headed to Odette’s for elegant balcony portraits overlooking the river.

Just before Ally walked down the aisle, she surprised everyone with a recorded message for Ethan. Instantly, tears filled the room. Their ceremony felt short, sweet, and full of love.

Finally, the reception featured beautiful details and sweeping river views. The celebration never slowed. Since Ally and Ethan had taken dance lessons for their first dance, they practiced together after the room reveal. We ended the night with a reception flat lay and romantic night portraits.
