Cassidy & AJ
I love love love LOVE this wedding — and not just because of the gorgeous couple, sweet moments, or the dreamy fall light (though all of that was amazing!). This one felt like home, quite literally. Cassidy and AJ got married just down the road from where I grew up — at one of my absolute favorite local venues: The Farm at Glenwood Mountain.
I visit the venue’s farm store almost weekly (highly recommend if you’re ever in the area!). The staff is the kindest crew you’ll ever meet, and the entire property is pure magic — from the rolling hills to the herb garden where they hold cocktail hour. It’s a true farm-to-table experience, and the perfect setting for a fall wedding.
We started the day at AJ’s parents’ house where everyone got ready. The vibe was so relaxed and happy, with their adorable dogs hanging out all morning. Cassidy got dressed in what I nicknamed “the window room” — the light in there was unreal and made for the most beautiful getting ready photos. She also did a first look with her dad that was incredibly sweet (yes, I teared up!).
From there, we headed to Mount Saint Mary for the ceremony. Guests were seated, and — in a fun twist — the priest asked me and my second shooter to help get the ceremony organized. We were happy to step in and help while also capturing every important moment.
After a few portraits outside the church, we made our way to the venue for more photos and the reception. We started with the wedding party, moved on to family, and finished with more couples portraits — and let me tell you, their portraits are to die for. Peak fall foliage? Check. Glowy golden hour? Check. Highland cows on a hill? You better believe it! We were lucky enough to have the staff take us up for those special shots, and they turned out absolutely stunning.
The reception was warm and full of joy — heartfelt dances, nonstop laughter, and a giggly cake cutting that ended the night just right. Weddings like this are why I love what I do. It was such an honor to document every moment of Cassidy and AJ’s wedding day at The Farm at Glenwood Mountain.
